In the Buddhist tradition, especially in meditation retreats, it is customary for teachers to meet with students to help with the meditation practice or to answer troubling and personal questions through the lens of the Dharma - the teachings of the Buddha in order to explore the Buddha’s teachings from your own experience.
Throughout the many years in which I taught, every year there were students who wanted to meet me in person and this always made me happy and excited because, and I even bother to emphasize this, I have no therapeutic training of any kind. The sessions are for those who have trust in the path or are interested how can it support daily life.
Of course, in the distant past I was treated by a classical psychologist, and I have a lot of appreciation for the field, and the meetings are not a substitute for therapy (although some people experience it that way), but as mentioned, I have no professional training. I have years of experience of my own and others only by walking the dharma path - the teachings of the Buddha. My many years of experience in meeting cancer patients through meditation has helped me to develop sensitivity and recognition when is the moment to relax & which meditation and questions can help. Fortunately, I got to specialize in several key areas - singles, motherhood, dealing with illness of a relative or yourself, fear of death and creative barriers.
Sooooo! If you took a course, or saw one of our movies that left questions and a wish to deepen in the subject, or maybe you always looked for someone to learn Buddhism with, or any other reason please contact me.
Meetings don’t have a set price, they range from 30$ until 300$.
